Platform Overview
Users on Multiverse Art create profile pages by uploading content through a simple and intuitive interface. All uploaded content is automatically showcased in a personalised 3D exhibition space, transforming each user’s profile into an immersive 3D exhibition.
Browsing 3D profiles offers a dual-layered experience. By default, users can navigate content through a swipe or scroll interface, which applies both to their personalised feed and individual user profiles. The personalised feed curates content from various profiles, teleporting users between artworks. When users enter 3D viewing mode, they are transported directly into the 3D profile that hosts the selected piece of content, allowing for an immersive, free-roaming exploration of the creator’s exhibition space. Users also have the ability to share content from other creators within their own exhibition spaces, enabling commissioned art sales or linking to other user profiles.
As users explore and engage with content, they can express their appreciation by Liking or upvoting. Likes are accessible to all users, while upvoting is powered by staking MVART tokens. To upvote, users specify the number of tokens they wish to stake as a show of endorsement for a particular piece. Staking tokens unlocks the opportunity to earn staking rewards, which are distributed based on the number of Likes the content accumulates over time. Rewards are issued at designated “Like Milestones,” benefiting both the staker and the original content creator, who receives royalties as recognition for their work.
The platform uses web3 ensuring that all content uploaded to Multiverse Art is recorded on the blockchain. This provides immutable provenance, enhancing trust and authenticity for creators and collectors.
A key feature of the platform is the Multiverse Art Marketplace integrated into both the 3D profile browsing experience and a dedicated marketplace page. The marketplace facilitates the sale of art in both digital and physical forms through integrated payment systems. The marketplace is a key component of a collaborative and mutually rewarding ecosystem where MVART token rewards are automatically distributed to curators as commissions when artwork is purchased from their exhibition spaces.
